‘Literacy is a gateway to equity’: Ready Readers celebrates National Family Literacy Month

November is National Family Literacy Month, and one St. Louis organization is making sure every child has access to the joy and power of reading.

Ready Readers, a nonprofit that started nearly three decades ago, reaches 17,000 children every week and distributes more than 170,000 new books each year to families across the region.
