Parents’ Perspectives in a Time of Change: Insights to Strengthen Family-School Partnerships

December 17 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

As K–12 education continues to evolve, understanding parents’ perspectives is essential to supporting student learning outcomes. Join us to hear findings from Learning Heroes’ 10th annual national parent survey, Parents 2026: Shifting Mindsets in a Time of Disruption. Together, we’ll explore parents’ perspectives on students’ academic progress, curriculum, screen time, artificial intelligence in schools, and postsecondary pathways, highlighting what these insights mean for educators and community partners working to support families and student success.

We’ll also lift up examples of local communities fueling their education priorities by surfacing a critical disconnect between parents’ perceptions of their children’s grade-level performance and the reality. Learn how highlighting these two data points and providing clear action steps is helping families and schools team up and take action to improve student outcomes.
