NCFL is seeking “Big Ideas” for the 2022 Families Learning Conference
Have you implemented a new program or idea that inspired change in your organization or community? How have you worked to affect or lead change in new ways?
The National Center for Families Learning is currently seeking “Big Idea” session proposals for the virtual portion of the 2022 Families Learning Conference, to be held October 25-26. The Conference, the theme for which is Families Learning, Families Leading, Equitable Communities, elevates the expertise and experience of participants by showcasing examples of family learning opportunities. Practitioners, families, and community leaders are invited to present sessions focused on evidence-based practices, strategies, and resources that help families succeed in accomplishing personal, educational, and economic goals.
“Big Idea” sessions present models in a way that is fast-paced and thought-provoking while connecting to at least one of the conference tracks: Family Literacy, Family Engagement, Family Leadership, and Research and Policy. During “Big Idea” sessions, presenters will have 15 minutes to share their models and answer any questions participants may have. Due to time constraints, we are limiting these sessions to single-presenter only.
The deadline to submit proposals is 11:59pm PDT July 22, 2022.
