NCFL supports children and families impacted by the devastating fires on Maui

NCFL works closely with the Hawai’i Statewide Family Engagement Center (SFEC) on Oahu in support of children and families across the state. This spring, we also had the privilege of witnessing the Aloha spirit as we worked with Partners in Development Foundation to support the teachers and parent educators who bring quality family literacy programming to Hawaiian families. Our hearts are with them now as they assist families through this devastating time.

Not only will this tragedy impact the immediate work these dedicated professionals are doing, but the loss of life, homes, businesses, critical infrastructure, and cultural heritage will echo across the state for years to come.
