‘Early Learning Action Group’ aims to make preschool more accessible to kids in Louisville
There’s a new effort to make learning more accessible to three and four-year-olds across Louisville. On Tuesday, Mayor Craig Greenberg appointed an “Early Learning Action Group” to come up with a plan to make one of his biggest campaign promises happen. The 21 leaders in the group have backgrounds in education, government, workforce development, and nonprofits. They will meet every other week over the next six months to discuss how to expand access to preschool and other early learning programs.
