Half Moon Bay Review

The Families in Action group is currently conducting a food, clothing and toiletry drive to benefit the local homeless population. All goods collected will be distributed at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, to the homeless in the community.

The group will go out to the area behind Safeway where some have seen homeless gather for shelter, and they will give everyone they find a goodie bag with essentials.

The Families in Action is working on this initiative as part of its first community service learning project, a requirement of the Toyota Family Learning program.
