On Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 3 p.m. Jim Lentz, chief executive officer, Toyota Motor North America, will be in Detroit to observe, firsthand, students and their parents at Harms Elementary School, 2400 Central St., participating in a family literacy program funded by the automaker. Called Toyota Family Learning, one of its key components is that parents and their children attend the same school, spending time in the classroom together.
