Top three reasons to attend #NCFL21
The all-virtual 2021 Families Learning Conference will be kicking off in less than a month! Conference organizers are busy building the high-quality event that attendees come to expect, this time in a virtual format.
Deciding whether to register? Here are the top three reasons #NCFL21 is worth attending!
Learning content to fit your needs – Focus your learning by following one of six content strands: Adult Education; Early Childhood Education; Family and Community Leadership; K-12 Education, Library, and Research and Policy. Additionally, those new to the field as well as seasoned professionals will be able to identify presentations appropriate for their levels of experience and subject knowledge. Look for the content level and strand specified for each session.
On-demand access – Talk about the gift that keeps on giving! Now you don’t have to choose which presentations to attend (or miss). Registrants will have access to all presentations for 90 days after the conference dates.
Opportunities to network with your peers – Networking looks a bit different in the virtual space, but we’ve got you covered! Our virtual platform features a chat capability within sessions and a forum for topic discussions; plus we’re utilizing Microsoft’s Flipgrid social learning platform for video networking. In the exhibit hall, attendees have the opportunity to chat face-to-face with exhibitor representatives.
Still on the fence? Here is what attendees of our last convening in 2019 had to say:
“This was the best conference I have ever attended. I had at least three sessions in each breakout session time period I wanted to attend. Fantastic offerings and I learned so much!”
“I feel this was one of the most well‐planned conferences I have ever attended.”
“Attending the 2019 30th anniversary NCFL conference has given me a renewal of dedication, a glorious amount of great ideas to consider and implement, and new connections to fellow literacy professionals from all over the United States.”
